WHAT WE BELIEVE.

God.

We believe in one eternal God who is powerful, wise, and good, creator and sustainer of everything seen and unseen. Within this Godhead, there are three equally holy, just, wise, powerful, and dignified persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Holy Spirit comes from the Father and the Son, sharing the same essence, greatness, and glory with them, as the very and eternal God.

Sin.

We believe that Jesus Christ's sacrifice, shedding his blood, forgives past sins, brings new life to repentant sinners, and saves us from sin and its effects. (Romans 3:25; 1 John 3:5-10; Ephesians 2:1-10).

Sanctification.

We believe in sanctification, which is positional and practical. When we are born again, we’re positionally and spiritually sanctified (set apart) (Acts 26:18; 1 John 1:9). Sanctification is practically lived out by the continual growth in grace and understanding of Jesus Christ throughout our lives. (2 Corinthians 4:16; 2 Peter 3:18).

The Second Coming.

We believe that Jesus Christ will, personally, come again (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Titus 2:13; 2 Peter 3:10-14; Matthew 24:29-44).

Jesus.

We believe that the Son, who is the Word of God, became human through the virgin Mary. In him, the divine and human natures are united without separation, forming one person, Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully human. He suffered, was crucified, died, and was buried to reconcile us to the Father and atone for both our actual sins and original sin.

The Bible.

We believe that the Bible, consisting of sixty-six books divided into the Old and New Testaments, is fully inspired by God. It serves as the complete revelation of God's plan and the history of redemption.

Justification.

We believe, teach, and firmly hold the scriptural truth that we are justified solely by faith. (Romans 5:1). We believe Jesus Christ's blood cleanses justified believers completely from all sin that remains after they are born again. (1 John 1:7-9).

Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that believers can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in the book of Acts. We also believe the gift of the Holy Spirit should be active and ongoing in the lives of believers. (Luke 11:13; Acts 1:5; 2:1-4; 8:17; 10:44-46; 19:6).

The Great Commission.

We believe every believer should dedicate their life to fulfilling the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8).

The Resurrection.

We believe that Christ rose from the dead, taking his body with all the qualities of human nature, and ascended into heaven. He now sits there until he returns to judge all people on the last day.

Salvation.

We believe that those who surrender to Jesus Christ and receive Him will receive eternal life with God in heaven as their reward, while those who persistently choose wickedness will face everlasting separation from God and suffer in what scripture defines as “Hell”. (Matthew 25:46; Psalm 9:17; Revelation 21:7, 8).

Healing.

We believe in divine healing, just as it was part of the atonement. (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Matthew 8:16, 17; Mark 16:14-18; James 5:14-16; Exodus 15:26)
