Renewal every day in everyday people.

As a church, we exist to see Jesus renew everyday people in the goodness and love of his gospel — restoring them to his presence, recentering them around his lordship, releasing them into his mission. In these things, we aren’t just made a little better — we’re made brand new.

As Jesus brings gospel renewal to everyday Angelenos, we dream of seeing…

  • Growing faith, grow.

  • Sleeping faith, wake up.

  • Hurting faith, heal.

  • Missing faith, be found.

What we practice.

  • cultivating relational abundance through the discipline of friendship with God and each other

  • restoring lives and rebuilding faith by healing together in God's presence

  • building biblical literacy and cultural discernment by studying, learning, and asking hard questions

  • adding goodness and love to the city through our work, art, and talents

  • loving people through local and global generosity

  • helping people find the unique form of leadership to which Christ has fitted them by developing natural and spiritual gifts

  • pursuing lives of wholehearted worship and steadfast devotion to Christ

Why the name ‘Goodness & Love’?

In Psalm 23, we find a poetic picture of the new life Jesus longs to give all people: a life of abundance, wholeness, purpose, hope, and promise found as we’re endlessly overtaken by God’s goodness and love. In the gospel, Jesus gives us that life by giving us himself.

Our name, Goodness & Love, is inspired by Psalm 23:6. It’s our shorthand way of referring to the renewed life found in Jesus and his gospel.
